There is plenty of action for online betting players on the hardwood this weekend, and a pair of games on Saturday will be sure to test the mettle of both NBA and NCAA betting fanatics.
NCAA Basketball – No.4 Duke at Michigan, 3:30 PM ET
The Blue Devils have won seven in a row over their old rivals, who are looking like they could be on a rise back to prominence after beating UCLA, along with a solid performance despite losing to Duke on Nov.21. If anything, it was poor shooting that hurt the Wolverines in that 71-56 loss, as they shot 35.2% from the floor. You should bet on the Blue Devils, who will be NCAA basketball betting favorites on the road, but it will be difficult for them to cover in Ann Arbor.
NBA Basketball – Utah at Phoenix, 9:00 PM ET
The Suns come into this Western Conference clash on a four-game losing skid, allowing an average of 110 points in those games. So much for the Suns being a “defense-first team” now. It looks like they are imploding, with players like Amare Stoudamire and Steve Nash complaining about the halfcourt offense. Maybe coach Terry Porter should let them go back to the Suns of old, where they were gunning after ten seconds elapsed on the shot clock. They are ripe for the picking, so bet on the Jazz on the road in a mild NBA betting “upset”.
